American Sleep Apnea Association
FusionHealth is partnered with the American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) in Washington, DC. The ASAA is the only non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about sleep apnea and to serving people with this common disorder. It is dedicated to reducing injury, disability, and death from sleep apnea and to enhancing the well-being of those affected by this common disorder. The ASAA provides information on sleep apnea to the public and answers questions about diagnosis and treatment options.
Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation
Dr. Jeffrey Durmer, Chief Medical Officer of FusionHealth, currently serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the RLS Foundation, a non-profit organization, with the goals of increasing awareness and improving treatments for RLS through research. RLS is a condition which severely affects the lives of millions of individuals including truck drivers and other transportation professionals.

Vermont Captive Insurance Association
The Vermont Captive Insurance Association is the largest trade association for captive insurance in the world. Established in 1985, the Association has grown to provide lobbying support on both the state and federal levels for its nearly 500 member companies. In addition, it hosts and supports professional education opportunities for the industry at large.
American Trucking Associations
FusionHealth is an allied member of the American Trucking Associations (ATA). ATA is the national trade association of the trucking industry. Through a federation of other trucking groups, industry-related conferences, and its 50 affiliated state trucking associations, ATA represents more than 37,000 members including every type of motor carrier in the United States.

Georgia Motor Trucking Association
FusionHealth is proud to be an affiliate member of the Georgia Motor Trucking Association (GMTA). The GMTA is the only organization in the state of Georgia that provides full-time service and representation for the trucking industry.
Women in Trucking
FusionHealth is a corporate member of Women In Trucking. Women in Trucking was established to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the trucking industry. The organization is an active group that finds opportunities to promote the accomplishments of women in the industry.
Strategic Partnerships
Federal Aviation Administration
In 2010, the Federal Aviation Administration working together with the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) approached our program for advice on developing national regulations for sleep apnea and sleep disorders management in coordination with fatigue management strategies. As a consultant to the FAA Article 55 Workgroup, Dr. Durmer, FusionHealth’s Chief Medical Officer, and researchers from the Institutes for Behavioral Research provided a day-long seminar to educate and advise the FAA and NATCA on these issues. In a separate conference in July 2010, Dr. Durmer provided an analysis and briefing presentation to all FAA US regional medical directors on the topic of sleep apnea risk assessment, program implementation and outcome measures. Dr. Durmer continues to advise the FAA in the process of implementing sleep-related programs for at-risk populations.
